I’ve got to say, reading this kind of makes me regret my move back, at least in some respects. The healthcare and gender equality are the predominant reasons, along with the immigration policies being implemented along with the mass and unjust deportations.
Even as Pan Demi Enby that has just come out so very recently. While I can truly passes as a CIS Het white male, I am feeling backed into a corner. I’m in that corner with all of my LGBTQ brothers, sisters, they’s, them’s and all of the other gender identities. I will absolutely use my passing privilege for the betterment of the larger community I now belong to.
If my passing only benefits me, I would rather not pass, especially as the person I once was. That version of me is now dead and buried. I am on to a better and more fulfilling and powerful life than I would have ever imagined.
