The legal system has never actually cared about this sorta thing. Nuremberg found nazis innocent of the holocaust. Nobody will suffer consequences for the abuse, and those abusers will retaliate against minorities with impunity.
Thank you for putting this out for everyone to read and see how things are on the inside of prison ...even though people mess up and go to prison does not mean they have to be treated as bad as they do ...it's about trying to become a better person while in there not become a outlet for the ones working to take out their issues on us ...thank you hope for the articles ...and those who also have helped make this happen and get it out for everyone who's concerned about their loved ones and the treatment they get while in there.
We are still human regardless of our gender or sexual preferences....and I hope one day people learn to live thier own life and let others live theirs without the hateful stuff ....if you don't like something about someone just keep it pushing you don't have to be around them so why bother being bothered with stuff you can choose to move around and not deal with if you don't like it?
