Kept waiting to read what the cisgender bathroom users said about the transusers. Were they okay or uncomfortable?

Cisgender people do not like sharing space with people obviously belonging to the other binary gender. Forcing a Trans person to use the wrong bathroom that doesn't match their gender identity doesn't make cisgender people safer, or even feel safer, and it makes Trans people much less safe. The bathroom ban authors ignore this and refuse to discuss a single truth behind every bathroom bill; they make ALL bathrooms unsafe for ALL Trans Americans, because the goal is to deny access to any public appearance or basic fact of life for Trans folk. They want to eradicate and eliminate all Trans people by denying them from work, school, government buildings, or public accommodations. They want to force Trans people to detransition or forever risk being raped, beaten, and murdered.

They WANT Trans people to be raped and killed, incarcerated and then forcibly detransitioned, or forced to suicide. That's how they intend to make the Reich "Trans-free".

THAT'S WHAT'S HAPPENING, RIGHT NOW!

I don't doubt any of that. I just think the story would have been more effective if it included the thoughts of the other bathroom users, particularly if they were not bothered by the presence of the trans users. Not including their views makes it seem the author was not an impartial reporter.

So when cisgender people write punitive laws drastically affecting transgender American's lives, without consulting or recording any testimony from the actual experiences of actual transgender people, that's just the majority doing as it pleases. But if transgender people don't center the feelings of cisgender people when describing the dangers they face attempting to safely use a bathroom, a privilege EVERY CISGENDER PERSON GETS TO TAKE FOR GRANTED, then WE are being partial and biased.

Yeah, whatever.
