Pippin’s Responses to allegations made in Uncloseted Media’s Oct. 14, 2025 story titled: How Moms for Liberty Took Over 1 Florida County
Allegations 1:
One individual says that, when they began publicly criticizing M4L, they were “approached by both Pippin and Justice in an attempt to reel them back in, with Pippin even offering them an advisory role in the group, but at a certain point they say they couldn’t ‘agree to disagree’ with them on racism and left.”
Referring to the same individual, “When they reached out to Pippin to ask for [M4L members] calling them a pedophile to be held accountable, she waved them off—all while blocking them and accusing them of “bullying.” She would later end up doxxing them after another dispute—a major factor in their decision to remain anonymous.”
The individual says: “Her response to me basically was ‘free speech,’ ‘we don’t control what our members say.’ And I’m like, ‘but Jennifer, you know me, and you know I’m not a pedophile, and this is unacceptable’”
Pippen’s Response to Allegations 1:
The individual is [REDACTED NAME] I spoke to him after a school board meeting in June 2023 about differing opinions on Critical Race Theory in library books in schools. I never attempted to “reel him back in” and never offered him an advisory role at any capacity. That’s a lie. I cannot speak for Tiffany Justice, but she was NOT at that meeting and NOT in our conversation at any capacity. She was active at a national level at that time, not local. [REDACTED NAME] was asking about books that were never challenged in our school district for Critical Race Theory and I told him if I had a question about a book to see if it had Critical Race Theory in it I would reach out to him or if he had a question if a book was challenged her could reach out to me. That’s not an advisory role at any capacity. Critical race theory is prohibited in Florida schools and if he read a book that contained it then our organization wouldn’t have to read it to challenge it for being against Florida laws and the school district remove it and donate to the public library. [REDACTED NAME] came onto our local public moms for Liberty FB page and was harassing and being disrespectful to membership. It was inflammatory and hostile everytime he commented. Our executive board had to remove many comments of his and others over the span of a few days. He then posted on his personal page (June 2023) that I was racist because he didn’t agree with the definition of CRT by the Department of Education I provided him and that he didn’t agree with the legality of CRT not being able to be in the schools per law I provided him (proof: https://www.fldoe.org/newsroom/latest-news/governor-desantis-announces-legislative-proposal-to-stop-w-o-k-e-activism-and-critical-race-theory-in-schools-and-corporations.stml )
So as an executive board vote we blocked him on social media. We don’t tolerate verbal abuse from people because they don’t agree with the law and being called racist when it’s not true. [REDACTED NAME] went on to harrass our Moms for Liberty members on other pages and even a local media outlet blocked him for the harrassment (The Sunshine Journal). [REDACTED NAME] made a group to harrass our organization since he kept getting blocked from our pages ([REDACTED GROUP NAME]-proof: [REDACTED GROUP LINK] )
and another fake FB profile ([REDACTED NAME]) to try to continue to post on our public page and harrass us. We blocked both the page and his fake profile. [REDACTED NAME] is entitled to his opinions but he’s not entitled to lie and share those lies to incite others to spread hate.
Allegation 2:
“Chapter leader Jennifer Pippin has mastered those tactics, becoming widely known as one of the most active and influential book banners in the country.”
Pippen’s Response to Allegation 2:
No books are banned in the USA. Our school district has removed over 300 pornographic and sexually explicit content books following local, state and federal laws. Attached is the link to the list for full transparency and let me know if you would like cited information or pictures on any of them:
Allegation 3:
“[Pippin] has also allegedly faked having a nursing license and appeared on the antisemitic and homophobic far-right news website TruNews, where she claimed, without evidence, that anti-M4L activists have been killing pets and livestock owned by the group’s members.”
Pippen’s Response to Allegation 3:
This individual is [REDACTED NAME]. This was proven in court on September 15, 2025 that proof was given and [REDACTED NAME] was lying. It’s in the evidence of the case. I do ALL interviews and TruNews asked for an interview via zoom about the books being removed from the schools and I did the interview. Nothing was brought up about antisemitism, homophobia or anything [REDACTED NAME] claims. After the interview a week or so later someone sent me a video from like 20 years ago where someone on the news outlet said something negative about the Jewish religion and asked me if I knew about that statement and my response to them was “no I was a teenager at that time and wouldn’t have been watching a news broadcast at that age. I would have been at school or working and not watching the news.” Again the interview had nothing to do with religion or anything like that. Finally again it’s in the case from September with proof that one of our chapter chairs in the center of the state announced running for office and the opposition positioned his livestock shortly after he announced running. I stated this on the interview referenced above but didn’t say his name to protect him and his wife and four children from being targeted again. The obsession with me interviewing with news outlets to share facts, stats and the truth is alarming.
Allegation 4:
(referring to the chapter) “all while harassing, doxing, and defaming their adversaries.”
Pippen’s Response to Allegation 4:
Our chapter nor any chapter of Moms for Liberty have doxxed, defamed or harassed adversaries. We welcome differing views and perspectives and as adults we often agree to disagree with opposing views. Where is the proof of this and would be happy to respond to specific proof if provided? Post? Posts? Otherwise it’s just hearsay because it’s simply not true.
Allegation 5:
“While the anti-mask circles that would later be folded into M4L always had a conservative lean, multiple county residents told Uncloseted Media that their discriminatory views were not initially apparent.”
Pippen’s Response to Allegation 5:
Our organization Moms for Liberty was never anti-mask or anti anything. We are pro medical freedom and believe that parents have the fundamental rights over their minor children including and not limited to medical treatments (see Parental Rights Law in Florida https://www.leg.state.fl.us/statutes/index.cfm?App_mode=Display_Statute&URL=1000-1099/1014/1014.html ) Our organization is non partisan and we don’t even ask political affiliations when people join, nor do we care. Parental rights are fundamental rights and education is non partisan.
Allegation 6:
One individual who identifies as part of the LGBTQ community says that they initially felt welcomed by advocates who opposed mask mandates and other COVID-19 restrictions, but that once they were folded into M4L, “that changed as the group’s focus turned towards opposing LGBTQ inclusion measures in schools.”
“Once they organized and got the appearance of a grassroots start… and many people in the community that were siding with them, it’s like they took the steering wheel and they just steered another direction with it,” the individual says
Pippen’s Response to Allegation 6:
We have members and members children that are LGB in our chapter and across the country in Moms for Liberty. We don’t discuss the sexuality of minor children and that’s the responsibility of the parents or guardians. Also there are laws in Florida that state K-12 schools do not teach gender ideology in school and that is the responsibility of the parents to discuss with their minor children: https://www.leg.state.fl.us/statutes/index.cfm?App_mode=Display_Statute&URL=1000-1099/1002/Sections/1002.20.html
Our moms for Liberty national director of engagement is an African American lesbian and has been a guest speaker at many of our local meetings and events along with other LGB members. We are the majority of the community then and now that value parental rights and school choice for families.
Allegation 7:
“When the same individual began speaking up against this rhetoric, they say they were booted and blocked from the group’s Facebook pages.”
Pippen’s Response to Allegation 7:
Without knowing who it is I cannot answer to this statement or ask my executive board why this person was removed from the organization without knowing a name. We have almost 6,000 members in our chapter and if someone was removed we would need a name and look back in our records why they were removed.
Allegation 8:
“The [M4L] meeting was to be hosted by a local business owner who had made posts online comparing LGBTQ to necrophilia, bestiality, and pedophilia.”
Pippen’s Response to Allegation 8:
What business is this? Name? And where is this post for proof? I’ve never seen any post or posts with this information. Please share the post or posts. We had meetings at multiple local businesses over the past almost five years to support local small businesses and never heard this allegation ever.
Allegation 9:
“After one individual split from M4L, they began publicly criticizing the group’s book bans and calling out members for racism, with some of the members accusing them of being a pedophile in retaliation.”
Pippen’s Response to Allegation 9:
Again without a name I have no idea who you are talking about. No books are banned in the USA, having age appropriate materials for minor children in schools isn’t book banning. None of our members are racist and we welcome all races and don’t even ask when people join. What members (names?) were calling anyone a pedophile? Please share the post or posts. Video? If there is no proof it’s just hearsay.
Allegation 10:
“In the 2022 elections, the Indian River County chapter quickly used this influence to carve out power in local government”
Pippen’s Response to Allegation 10:
Our organization is a 501c4 and we can and do endorse school board candidates. In the 2022 school board elections two Moms for Liberty members were elected to the SDIRC school board. The majority of the community agreed with these candidates to represent them.
Allegation 11:
“Using these connections, [M4L IRC] mounted a campaign of hundreds of requests to ban books containing ‘sexual content.’”
Pippen’s Response to Allegation 11:
Our chapter followed the federal, state and local laws to challenge over 300 library books in schools in Indian River County and they were removed by principals, superintendent, school board or district staff for pornographic or sexually explicit content. Again no books are banned and all of the books removed from minor children’s schools were donated to the adult section of the public libraries in our county. Here’s the list for proof: https://www.facebook.com/share/1FsYLjBuxw/?mibextid=wwXIfr
If you wanted cited information on any of the books in the link let me know and I’ll be happy to provide the proof of the rape, incest, beastality, pedophillia, necrophillia, oral sex, anal sex or more….
Allegation 12:
At a 2023 NAACP meeting, “Thomas Kenny, who is white, and other [M4L] members attempted to shout down NAACP speakers, with one member using the n-word.”
Pippen’s Response to Allegation 12:
Some of our Moms for Liberty members went to a PUBLIC meeting by the NAACP in a PUBLIC place to hear the school board member there speaking about new standards being implemented in the next school year. None of our membership tried to shut down the speakers and our members engaged in the conversation. Yes Thomas Kenny is white and was there along with several other parents and grandparents in our organization that were both white and black. The NAACP had white people there and the school board member presenting was white. Why does the color of skin matter? That’s racist. It was a public meeting in a public place. Nothing wrong or illegal with people attending a public meeting to engage with others. After speaking with Thomas Kenny about this he said no one used the N word in that meeting at any capacity from the entire meeting room. Video? Post of who said it? If not, again hearsay.
Allegation 13:
“Multiple individuals say that they’ve had to take a step back from the school board and local activism because of the toxic environment M4L has created. Multiple people also specifically cited Pippin’s recent lawsuits as a major reason they felt afraid to speak up against the group.”
One of these individuals says “It’s been turned into such a circus”
Pippen’s Response to Allegation 13:
The small group of individuals opposing me and Moms for Liberty in our local area have resorted to the very tactics they claim to condemn—harassment, doxxing, intimidation, and the filing of false reports with law enforcement and the Department of Children and Families. Every one of these reports has been closed without action, confirming they were baseless against me/us.
Their campaign has included personal attacks, slander, and coordinated efforts to silence and intimidate not only me but others who speak up. In response to this ongoing harassment, I currently have one active restraining order, two more pending, and seven cease and desist letters issued by my attorney over the past few years. Several of these individuals also have documented histories of violent or threatening behavior.
Rather than engage in respectful dialogue or accept the results of last November’s election, these individuals have chosen to lash out—often hiding behind anonymous social media accounts (like The Florida Fruit Loop) to spread misinformation, doxx individuals, and fuel a toxic online environment.
Despite these aggressive tactics, we remain fully committed to advocating for parental rights, educational transparency, and community involvement. We will not be intimidated into silence and will continue to take legal action against the violence.
